New Store Europe has worked in four countries to complete a project for Sweden-based retail agency Workshop and its client, Electrolux.
The brief was to create two different types of display unit, one for cookers and washing machines and the other for freezers. Four hundred units for the cookers and washing machines were needed and 150 units for the freezers.
The roll out was to Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway – which meant that any text on the units had to be in one of four languages.

The units were to go to Dixon’s stores, which are known in Sweden and Denmark as Elgiganten, in Finland as Gigantti and in Norway as Elkjop.
Up to 75 units a week were produced and the roll out to Dixon’s warehouses across the four countries was completed in six weeks.
