New Store Europe creates the temporary store Nike 6.0 in Mondello
New Store Europe built a temporary store for Nike 6.0, the new brand of clothing, beachwear and sneakers created by Nike for surf and action sports fans.
Located in a charming liberty-style villa by the sea of Mondello (PA), one of the most beautiful tourist resorts in Italy and a destination for surfers in search of the perfect wave, the Temporary Store Nike 6.0 was open throughout June and July and then dismantled on 3 August 2011.
This was a temporary, unique and exclusive set up, created from a Nike executive project. New Store Europe dealt with construction management (materials research, construction, finishing and assembly) with the collaboration of the “Over the Rainbow” agencybased in Lissone (MB), which specializes in set designs and special events.

This was a temporary, unique and exclusive set up, created from a Nike executive project. New Store Europe dealt with construction management (materials research, construction, finishing and assembly) with the collaboration of the “Over the Rainbow” agencybased in Lissone (MB), which specializes in set designs and special events.
Developed on an area of approximately 100 square meters, the store had a particular structure composed of multi-layer panels with a hidden hooking system for hangers and shelves, then covered by rough wooden planks (AYOUS type). This was patiently assembled one by one with overlapping, so as to create an original look. A cash desk, lamps supported by a special American structure, and several video walls complete the set up.
The result was an environment characterized by a strong visual impact, creating the feel of an improvised shelter on the beach with planks salvaged from a storm, giving the visitors a sense of great dynamism, expression of the 6.0 lifestyle, and a fascinating and exciting shopping experience.
